Line Item Description

This NDIS line item falls under the Core Support Purpose, specifically within the Assistance with Daily Life Support Category. Core supports are essential as they enable participants to complete activities of daily living and live as autonomously as possible.

Scope of Support:

The service provides a participant with assistance with, or supervision of, personal tasks of daily life. The key focus of this support is to develop the participant's skills to live as independently as possible. Support can be delivered individually to the participant and in a range of environments, including their own home.

Time of Day and Classification:

Weekday Night: This support is specifically for services provided during the night hours on a weekday (Monday to Friday). For claiming purposes, a Weekday Night Support generally covers assistance that either commences at or before midnight and finishes after midnight on a weekday, or commences before 6:00 am on a weekday and finishes on that weekday.

Standard: The "Standard" classification indicates that the support provided is not considered a High Intensity support.

Additional Claiming Information:

In addition to direct face-to-face service provision, the funding for this line item can also be used to claim for associated costs, including:
- Non-Face-to-Face Support Provision
- Provider Travel
- Short Notice Cancellation, subject to the seven-day cancellation rules
