Line Item Description

This Core Support line item is used for providing participants with assistance or supervision for personal tasks during weekday evenings, helping them to develop skills and live more autonomously.

???? Purpose and Scope
The primary goal of this support is to assist with, and/or supervise, personal tasks of daily life to build a participant's ability to live as independently as possible. It falls under the Assistance with Daily Life support category and is intended for standard, non-high-intensity needs.

This support is specifically for services delivered during the weekday evening. For NDIS claiming purposes, this is defined as a support that starts at or after 8:00 pm and finishes at or before midnight on a single weekday.

NOTE: There is not such a thing as NDIS personal care rate that has to be paid (or NDIS personal care fees). The price given in NDIS Pricing Arrangements is the maximum that can be charged. However, this does not mean that you have to charge at this rate. In fact, it is usually wise to charge less - a lot of providers do this in order to get more work.
