Establishment Fee For Personal Care/Participation - High Intensity Daily Personal Activities

Line Item Description

This NDIS line item allows a provider to claim a one-time fee to cover the initial, otherwise non-claimable, costs associated with establishing service arrangements for a participant.

Eligibility and Claiming Rules
A provider can claim this establishment fee only once per participant across all of their NDIS plans. To be eligible, the provider must have an agreement to supply a minimum of 20 hours per month for three or more consecutive months of supports from one of the following categories:


Personal Care Supports

Delivered by providers in Registration Group 0104 (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities).

Participation Supports

Delivered by providers in Registration Groups 0125 (Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities), 0136 (Group and Centre Based Activities), 0133 (Specialised Supported Employment), or 0104 (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities) for community access.


Important Note: More than one provider can claim an Establishment Fee for the same participant, provided that each provider independently meets the eligibility requirements.
