Line Item Description

This line item is used for providing participants who require high-intensity support with assistance or supervision for personal tasks of daily life. It is a Core Support under the 'Assistance with Daily Life' category, designed to help participants develop skills and live as autonomously as possible.

This specific support item applies to services delivered during the weekday evening.

Definition of Weekday Evening For NDIS claiming purposes with Disability Support Workers, a 'Weekday Evening Support' is any support that starts at or after 8:00 pm and finishes at or before midnight on a single weekday (Monday to Friday), provided it is not a Public Holiday or a Night-time Sleepover Support.
A Weekday Evening Support is any support to a participant that starts after 8:00 pm and finishes at or before midnight on a single weekday (unless it is a Public Holiday or Night-time Sleepover Support).

NOTE: There is not such a thing as NDIS personal care rate that has to be paid (or NDIS personal care fees). The price given in NDIS Pricing Arrangements is the maximum that can be charged. However, this does not mean that you have to charge at this rate. In fact, it is usually wise to charge less - a lot of providers do this in order to get more work.
