Line Item Description

This line item covers the provision of high-intensity personal care supports to a participant during the night on a weekday. It falls under the Core - Assistance with Daily Life support category.

Purpose and Scope
This support is for participants who require a higher level of skill and experience from a support worker for personal tasks of daily life. The primary goal is to provide assistance with, or supervision of, these tasks to help the participant develop the skills to live as autonomously as possible.

High Intensity Support: This level of support is for participants with needs as defined in Schedule 2 - Module 1 of the NDIS (Provider Registration and Practice Standards) Rules 2018.

Weekday Night: For NDIS claiming purposes, a "Weekday Night" support is one that starts on or before midnight on a weekday and finishes after midnight, or starts before 6:00 am on a weekday and finishes on that same day. A weekday is defined as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

This support can be delivered to an individual participant or to a group.
