Where a support item does not have a price limit then the provider and participant should agree on the reasonable price for the support. If necessary, they should also agree on the billing schedule for the support. In the NDIS Support Catalogue marked under empty type.
This line item is used for providing Assistance with Self-Care Activities on a Saturday to a participant who requires intensive and complex behaviour support. It falls under the Core - Assistance with Daily Life support category and is designed to assist with, or supervise, personal tasks of daily living to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible.
What Qualifies as Intensive and Complex Behaviour Support? ????
This support is specifically for participants who meet the following criteria:
They display frequent behaviours of concern that have a significant impact on their safety or the safety of others.
They require intensive support and the implementation of proactive strategies (which may include the use of restrictive practices) to minimise the risk of harm.
They may have other issues that increase the complexity of their behaviour support needs.
To deliver this support, providers must be implementing the participant's behaviour support plan and be registered for Module 2A (Implementing Behaviour Support Plans) with the NDIS Commission.
Some activities can be delivered without the participant percent
Some providers can charge participants for the time it takes them to travel and deliver support
