NDIS line item 01_801_0138_1_1 for Supported Independent Living Standard Weekday Daytime provides funding for continuous, standard-level active care during regular weekday hours for participants with higher support needs. This line item is utilised when a participant requires continual support at home during the day but does not require highly specialised workers with extra qualifications.

Key Inclusions and Parameters
* Standard Intensity Requirements: This level of support is funded for the majority of participants who require active disability support for daily tasks, without needing the extra qualifications required for high intensity care.
* Active Daytime Support: Covers direct assistance or active monitoring for daily daytime activities in the home, including personal care, getting ready, cooking, eating, drinking, cleaning, and doing chores.
* Flexible Delivery: This support is generally funded for participants sharing NDIS supports with others in shared housing, but it can also be applied if the participant requires support to live alone.

Provider Expectations
* All Supported Independent Living supports, including standard weekday daytime care, must be managed and delivered strictly by a registered NDIS provider.
