NDIS line item 01_803_0138_1_1 for Supported Independent Living Standard Weekday Night provides funding for continuous, standard-level active overnight care during the week for participants with higher support needs. This line item is utilised when a participant requires a support worker to be awake for more than 2 hours during normal sleeping hours to safely manage their disability requirements.

Key Inclusions and Parameters
* Standard Intensity Requirements: This level of support is funded for the majority of participants who need active disability support at night, without requiring workers with extra qualifications to manage complex medical needs.
* Active Overnight Support: Applies specifically when sleepover support (up to 2 hours of awake assistance) is insufficient, requiring the support worker to remain awake and active throughout the night.
* Flexible Delivery: This support is generally funded for participants sharing NDIS supports with others in shared housing, but it can also be approved if the participant requires support to live alone.
