This line item is utilised when a participant requires continual support at home to safely manage complex disability requirements before standard sleeping hours begin.

Key Inclusions and Parameters
* High Intensity Requirements: This level of support is funded when a participant needs support workers with extra qualifications and experience to manage complex conditions, such as unstable seizure activity or respiratory support.
* Active Evening Support: Covers direct assistance or active monitoring for daily evening activities in the home, including personal care, getting ready, cooking, eating, drinking, cleaning, and doing chores.
* Flexible Delivery: This support is generally funded for participants sharing NDIS supports with others in shared housing, but it can also be approved if the participant needs high intensity support to live alone.

Provider Expectations
* All Supported Independent Living supports, including high intensity evening care, must be managed and delivered strictly by a registered NDIS provider.
* The registered provider is responsible for ensuring their support workers possess the necessary extra qualifications and training to safely meet the participant's specific high intensity support needs.
