NDIS line item 01_813_0138_1_1 for Supported Independent Living High Intensity Weekday Night provides funding for continuous, specialised overnight care during the week for participants with high support needs. This line item is utilised when a participant requires a support worker to be awake during normal sleeping hours to safely manage complex disability requirements.

Key Inclusions and Parameters
* High Intensity Requirements: This level of support is funded when a participant requires support workers with extra qualifications and experience due to their high support needs, such as managing unstable seizure activity or providing respiratory support.
* Active Overnight Support: This applies specifically when a participant needs more than 2 hours of awake support overnight, requiring the support worker to remain active and awake during normal sleeping hours to provide disability support.
* Flexible Delivery: This support is generally funded for participants sharing NDIS supports in a shared home, but can also be applied if the participant needs high intensity support to live alone.
