NDIS line item 01_832_0138_1_1 for Supported Independent Living Night-Time Sleepover provides funding for a support worker to be present overnight at a participant's home. This support is designed for individuals who require a level of overnight supervision or assistance due to their disability needs, ensuring safety and care during normal sleeping hours.

Key Inclusions and Parameters
* Up to Two Hours of Active Support: This line item specifically funds sleepover support where the worker is available to provide up to 2 hours of awake assistance overnight.
* Intermittent Assistance: This is suited for participants who may occasionally wake up and need help, such as assistance going to the bathroom during the night.
* Registered Providers Only: All Supported Independent Living supports, including night-time sleepovers, must be managed and delivered by a registered NDIS provider.

When This Item Does Not Apply
* Active Overnights: If a participant's disability support needs require the worker to be awake and actively providing support for more than 2 hours during the night, this must be funded separately as active overnight support rather than a standard sleepover.
* Unexpected Extra Support: If a participant needs more than the standard 2 hours of awake support every now and again on a weekend or public holiday, the provider can claim extra support hours at the relevant daytime rate, provided this is agreed upon beforehand.
