Establishment Fee For Personal Care/Participation - High Intensity Daily Personal Activities

Line Item Description

This NDIS line item is an Establishment Fee for Personal Care/Participation Supports. It is designed to compensate providers for the initial, otherwise non-claimable, administrative costs involved in setting up service arrangements for a new participant.


This is a one-time fee that a provider can claim only once per participant across all of their NDIS plans.

Conditions for Claiming
A provider can claim this establishment fee only if they meet specific criteria. The provider must have an agreement with the participant to deliver a minimum of 20 hours of support per month for three or more consecutive months.

This requirement applies to supports delivered under the following registration groups: High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (0104) when used for community access or group supports.

Even if a provider offers services to a participant across multiple registration groups, they are only eligible to claim one establishment fee, provided the minimum service conditions are met.
