Establishment Fee For Personal Care/Participation - Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities

Line Item Description

This NDIS line item is a one-off fee that providers can claim to cover the administrative costs of setting up substantial, ongoing services for a participant. Specifically, this item applies to providers delivering supports under the Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities registration group (0125).



Claiming Rules and Eligibility
Providers can only claim this establishment fee once per participant across all of their NDIS plans. To be eligible, the provider must meet the following criteria:


Service Agreement: The provider must have an agreement with the participant to deliver a minimum of 20 hours of participation support per month.


Duration: This agreement must be for three or more consecutive months.


Purpose: The fee is for providers who are assisting a participant with the implementation of their NDIS plan.

It is important to note that more than one provider can claim an establishment fee from a participant's plan, provided each one individually meets the necessary requirements.
