Purpose and Scope: The item provides funding for individual support to enable a participant requiring Standard Supports to engage in community, social, and/or recreational activities. Unlike group activities, this line item covers support provided one-on-one with a support worker to facilitate participation in the community. This support is specifically for services delivered on a Sunday.

Key Characteristics:

Individual Support: The support is delivered one-on-one (or at a higher ratio as needed for a specific activity) by a support worker, focusing entirely on the participant's goals and preferences.

Community-Based: Activities typically take place in the community, providing access to public spaces, events, and services.

Standard Supports: This applies to supports that do not require the specialist skills or experience of a High Intensity Support Worker.

Assistance with Activity Based Transport to and from the community activity.

Support Context: This support can be used flexibly from the participant's Core Supports budget. Providers can also claim for associated costs such as Non-Face-to-Face Support Provision, Provider Travel, and Short Notice Cancellations as per the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
