Line Item Description

This line item allows providers to claim an additional amount to cover the costs associated with running and maintaining a facility (a "Centre") where Specialised Supported Employment services are delivered to NDIS participants.

It is intended to cover the capital costs of the building where the primary support is provided.

Purpose and Use
The 04_599_0133_5_1 line item can be claimed in conjunction with a primary support from the Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation Support Category. Specifically, it is used when a provider from the Specialised Supported Employment (0133) registration group delivers services in a facility they operate.


Key conditions for claiming this support item include:

The primary support must be delivered in a centre.

If the support is provided to a group, the provider can claim the Centre Capital Cost for each participant for each hour of the support.

For supports delivered partially in a centre and partially in the community, the Centre Capital Cost can be claimed for the entire duration of the support, provided the centre was available at all times if needed.

This line item can also be claimed for Short Notice Cancellations (7 days).
