This service provides comprehensive, individualised support by assessing a person’s strengths, skills, and barriers in relation to their employment goals.

Key Services Provided by a Psychologist:

The support includes:

Vocational Assessment: An in-depth evaluation to analyse your transferable skills, experience, qualifications, interests, and values to determine your employment potential and identify suitable career opportunities.

Functional Assessment: An assessment to understand how your disability or functional limitations may impact your ability to work and to inform what reasonable adjustments are needed in a workplace.

Employment Counselling and Planning: Tailored counselling sessions and advice to help you explore post-school options, redefine your career goals, build emotional and mental resilience, and address any complex challenges to obtaining or maintaining employment.

Workplace Support and Education: Providing education and support to you, a prospective employer, and other workplace colleagues regarding your disability and the necessary adjustments to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
