Line Item Description

This NDIS line item allows providers to claim an additional amount to cover the costs associated with running and maintaining a facility (a "centre") when delivering certain capacity-building employment supports. It is designed to contribute to the overheads of a physical location where specialised supported employment services are provided.

Purpose and Application
The Centre Capital Cost (10_599_0133_5_3) is not a standalone support. It can only be claimed in conjunction with a primary support from the Specialised Supported Employment registration group (0133) under the "Finding and Keeping a Job" support category.


This item is intended for providers who deliver these supports from a dedicated centre and can be claimed for each participant for each hour of the primary support delivered in that facility. If a support is delivered partially in a centre and partially in the community, providers can claim the Centre Capital Cost for the entire period, provided the centre was available for the participant if required.
