This item funds essential therapeutic tasks that directly support the child's developmental goals and therapy plan outside of direct session time.

What Can Be Claimed
* Therapy Planning & Program Design: Developing tailored music therapy plans, clinical strategies, and individualized interventions tailored to the child's functional goals.
* Reports & Documentation: Writing required progress reports, functional evaluation summaries, and documentation for NDIS plan reassessments.
* Multidisciplinary & Caregiver Collaboration: Consulting with parents, educators, key workers, or other allied health professionals to coordinate care and strategies.
* Resource Customisation: Creating or adapting participant-specific music therapy tools and visual aids for use at home, school, or childcare.

Provider & Delivery Requirements
* Qualifications: Delivered by a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association.
* Prior Agreement: Non-face-to-face activities must be explicitly agreed to in advance by the family/carer within the signed service agreement.
* Direct Participant Benefit: Activities must directly support the participant's goals and cannot include standard administrative overheads like billing, scheduling, or general practice administration.
* Excluded Supports: Standard administrative duties, general business operations, or non-individualized pre-packaged kits ("therapy in a box") cannot be claimed.
