This item funds off-session therapeutic work that directly supports the participant's individual capacity building, goal achievement, and functional independence.

What Can Be Claimed
* Individualised Therapy Planning: Developing tailored music therapy plans, clinical strategies, and customized interventions aligned with the participant's NDIS goals.
* Reports & Progress Documentation: Writing formal progress reports, functional summaries, and clinical updates required for NDIS plan reassessments.
* Care Coordination & Stakeholder Liaison: Consulting with family, support workers, allied health professionals, or multidisciplinary teams to coordinate therapy strategies.
* Participant Resource Customisation: Creating or adapting participant-specific music resources, audio tracks, or visual schedules for home or community use.

Provider & Delivery Requirements
* Qualifications: Delivered by a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with an accredited degree and registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association.
* Prior Agreement: Non-face-to-face tasks and maximum billable hours must be explicitly agreed to in advance within the participant’s signed service agreement.
* Direct Participant Benefit: Claimed tasks must directly benefit the individual participant's clinical progress and cannot cover standard business operations or administrative overheads.
* Excluded Supports: General practice administration (e.g., billing, intake, scheduling) or non-tailored pre-packaged kits ("therapy in a box") cannot be claimed.
