Line item 15_615_0128_1_3_PT enables Registered Music Therapists (RMTs) to claim travel time and associated travel expenses when traveling to deliver direct capacity-building music therapy supports to participants in community settings, such as their home, school, workplace, or day program.

What Can Be Claimed
* Provider Travel Time: Time spent traveling directly to and from a scheduled face-to-face music therapy session in the participant's home or community setting.
* Apportioned Travel Time: Travel time split proportionately across multiple participants when a therapist visits sequential participants on a single journey.
* Non-Labor Travel Expenses: Associated travel costs such as road tolls, parking fees, or agreed per-kilometer mileage allowances, provided they are agreed upon prior to service delivery.

Provider & Delivery Requirements
* Qualifications: Linked to therapeutic supports delivered by a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association.
* Prior Service Agreement: Travel terms, expected travel duration, and non-labor fees must be explicitly agreed to in advance within the participant’s signed service agreement.
* NDIS Travel Caps: Claims must adhere to regional travel billing caps and guidelines set out in the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
* Excluded Supports: Cannot be claimed for administrative travel, commuting to standard office locations, or travel associated with non-NDIS funded activities.
