‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.
Line Item Description
This line item is specifically used by NDIS providers to claim for the non-labour costs associated with travel when delivering face-to-face supports under the registration group "Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions And Supports" (0106). It allows providers to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses incurred while travelling to a participant.
This item is a supplementary claim and must be billed separately from the primary support service and the provider's travel time (labour costs).
