‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.
Line Item Description
This line item is used by NDIS providers to claim reimbursement for the out-of-pocket, non-labour costs incurred while travelling to deliver face-to-face supports associated with Registration Group 0114: Community Nursing Care.
What It Covers
This support item allows a provider to claim for costs beyond the worker's travel time. With the participant's prior agreement, a reasonable contribution can be claimed for expenses such as:
Vehicle running costs: Up to $0.99 per kilometre for a vehicle owned by the provider or worker.
Other transport-related costs: The full amount for expenses like road tolls, parking fees, and public transport fares.
