The purpose of this support category is to enable participants to access disability supports outside their home and to help them achieve the goals outlined in their plan.

This specific line item allows a participant to pay a provider to transport them to an activity. This enables the participant to travel to and from appointments or their place of work. The transport destination can be an activity that is not itself an NDIS support, or it can be to a support that is delivered by another provider.



This support can be delivered to individual participants or to groups, subject to the rules for group-based supports.

This support item is not subject to price limits. Providers and participants should agree on a reasonable price for the support. Claims for this item should follow the general claiming rules for supports that do not have a price limit.
