‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.

Claimable supplementary costs typically include:
Delivery and Freight charges for the Assistive Technology.
Installation and in-home technical setup costs.
Initial training for the participant, family members, or support staff on how to use the new communication or information support equipment.
Ongoing costs such as essential software subscriptions, licenses, or required maintenance and repair fees necessary to keep the equipment operational and effective.
The primary goal is to improve the participant’s independence and capacity for social, economic, and community participation by removing barriers to accessing and using critical communication and information supports.
Some activities can be delivered without the participant percent
Some providers can charge participants for the time it takes them to travel and deliver support
