This NDIS support item is allocated under the Capital - Home Modifications category and covers the cost of Minor Home Modifications (MHM) that involve the alteration or replacement of an internal door or doorway within a participant's dwelling.

This support is fundamental for improving the participant's independence and ability to move freely and safely between rooms (e.g., bedroom, bathroom, kitchen). The modifications are often necessary to accommodate the use of mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive technology that requires more space for passage.
