‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Item Description This line item covers all works and costs for an agreed kitchen modification. This includes changes to:
Fittings
Fixtures
Cabinetry
Associated plumbing
Associated electrical work
Flooring
Standard furniture, fixtures, and fittings, such as cabinetry, stovetops, and portable ovens, are considered an NDIS support when they are recommended and included as part of the home modification. The reuse of existing, out-of-scope appliances is expected.
Context and Limitations As a Minor Home Modification (MHM), this support is intended for changes that are non-structural, relatively low-risk, straightforward, and generally cost less than $20,000.
Specifically for this MHM - Kitchen item, any work that involves altering or building the sub-structure of the floor or a load-bearing wall is considered out of scope.
Requirements All Home Modification support needs must be assessed by a home modification assessor, who is an Occupational Therapist suitably qualified to assess, implement, and review home modification supports. A quote is not required to claim this item.
