‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.
This support item, 06_182495405_0111_2_2 MHM - Laundry, is classified under the Home Modifications support category (Support Category 06). It is designated as a Minor Home Modification (MHM), which includes changes to a participant's home that are considered non-structural, straightforward, and relatively low risk. The primary goal of home modifications is to enable participants to live more independently and safely within their homes.
This specific line item covers all works and costs associated with an agreed-upon laundry modification. This can include changes to fittings, fixtures, and cabinetry, along with the necessary plumbing, electrical, and flooring work.
It is important to note that any work altering or building the sub-structure of the floor or a load-bearing wall is explicitly out of scope for this item. If the modification work affects the wet seal, a wet seal certification must be submitted before the final claim can be made.
As with all home modifications, this support must be assessed by a suitably qualified home modification assessor, who is an Occupational Therapist. This item is claimed using the "Each" unit of measure , and a quote is not required.
