‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.

Line Item Description

This support item allows NDIS providers to claim for the non-labour costs associated with travelling to a participant to deliver supports under the Capacity Building - Development of Daily Living and Life Skills category. Specifically, it is linked to the primary support item 09_009_0117_6_3 - Skills Development and Training.

It is intended to cover the out-of-pocket expenses a provider might incur, separate from the cost of the support worker's time.

What Costs Are Covered?

Vehicle Running Costs: For a vehicle owned by the provider or the support worker, a claim of up to $0.99 per kilometre is considered reasonable.

Other Associated Costs: Providers can claim up to the full amount for other expenses such as road tolls, parking fees, and public transport fares.
