‘Notional Unit Price’ Support Line Item is a type of line items under NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Supports are not subject to a price limit and $1.00 is not the maximum price to be charged for a unit, it is how a claim is made to the NDIA.Each of the Notional Unit Prices might have their own pricing limits.

Line Item Description

This line item allows NDIS providers to claim for the non-labour costs incurred while travelling to deliver face-to-face supports within the Improved Health and Wellbeing support category.

This support item is used to claim for the out-of-pocket expenses a provider incurs when travelling to a participant, separate from the cost of the worker's time. These costs can include:


Road tolls


Parking fees


The running costs of the vehicle


Public transport fares

This item is used in conjunction with primary supports such as:
